| How Does it Work? |
| Mass air induction systems measure airflow directly with an electronic "hot-wire" type sensor. The sensing element in the air intake provides and ouput voltage reading that is directly proportional to the amount of air that is entering the engine. This method of airflow measurement reduces the calculations required to control fuel flow and ignition spark advance. The meter can react fast and accurately to the sudden changes in airflow, while improving overall vehicle performance and drivability. The Pro-M and Bullet designs greatly improve the airflow to the engine. |
